Well I just bought an 93 Eagle Talon. The guy i bought it from rebuilt the motor. There was an oil leak so I clean of the bottom with some degreaser and then rinsed it off. Then I started it up since it only leak when it ran. Then I heard some grinding and then seen antifreez. I believe it is the water pump because that is the only on the side with the timing belt (correct?). Anyways I was Just looking for some insite. The water pump was only used for like 2000 miles but it sat for a little while.

( No disrespect to the person who rebuilt the motor. Just trying to get opinons.)

This happened to the first DSM I ever bought. Yes the water pump is located on the timing belt side. Mine was leaking antifreeze like crazy all over everything. Which if it is the water pump its real fun to fix. Take off the timing belt and such. Check your chilton/hanes on how to do it. As for the oil leak, wheres it coming from?
