Just watched the trailers on fm.net...wow.

They brought back the dragstrip, the graphics look sick, they added the r33 gtr, the zr1, 93 cobra, and more, and some new tracks. Im impressed!

And impatient :)

so.. has anyone else played the demo yet? what do you think?

IMO the game just looks amazing, and theyve added a manual w/ clutch, instead of just auto and paddle shifters--which was 10x more fun when i finally figured out how to do it. So with the manual w/ clutch and cockpit view it just made forza 3 way more realistic compared to forza 2..

the only thing i didnt like is when cars collide, even if its just a small hit, they shake the camera a little too much but other than that it was great.

I think the camera shake added a lot to the collisions. Made them seem a lot more realistic as opposed to FM2.

My biggest like so far is that they brightened up everything to get rid of a lot of the shadows that formed when looking at cars or parts of the track.

Played it for half an hour and i'm going to play some more in a bit.

My only complaint is the lack of center positioned dual tack.

But yeah, they did a GREAT job, I can't wait for the game.

Yeah.. I'm going to wait for Gran Turismo 5, but it's not coming out until March '10. :banghead:

Yea, I just saw the list for forza three today and was very, very depressed to see that once again there was no 1g dsm. How hard would it be to throw in a 1g gsx or somethin? We should all send letters to turn 10 and maybe they will make one for dlc or somethin:thumb:

honestly, you can send letters, but get on the turn10 / forza2 or 3 website, become a member of the community and bi*** about it on the forums. If enough of you post about it and make a case for it, it may happen, it may be a car they allow to be downloaded as DLC content in the near future. I really wanted one too as I think the following behing 1gs was huge at one point and still significant enough to put the car in, but you will notice that F3 uses alot of the same car but iwht diff livery, ie all the race cars. also forza games typically have very few older cars, like the legends, 787b, rc92, e90 evo benz, cosworth escort, cosworth sierre, lotus carlton and the list goes on. GT on teh other hand does have alot of these cars. As for the 2g, there are like three 2gs in the game. there is a gsx, gst, and tsi. If anything there are too many 2gs.

man i was really hoping for the 1g in this one! looks like not only will i not get that, but they dont even have the 2g on that list, i mean those are popular cars cmon, atleast the 2g!:ohdamn:

Both the 95 gsx and 98 tsi awd are on the list, someone needs to learn to READ BEFORE making comments. :nono::tease::p

im just glad that the 2g's are in it at least. At first i didnt see them in the first list and was considering not buying the game, but then i realized theres another list for disc 2 cars..

but did anyone notice that talons are listed as just tsi? i wonder if they will make the talons FWD, and the eclipses AWD? I honestly wouldnt mind, because it will add some variety to the 2g's, but like someone already said they just just recycle cars so i guess they will both be AWD.

i reserved my LCE one too. cant wait to do some tuning with the datsun 510 TBH LOL. im thinking of getting a little petition (for lack of a better word) to get some of the older tuner cars in the game as DLC, like the 1ga talon TSi, 87 300zx and 200sx turbos, conquest or starion 2.6, 87-89 civic hatch.

The '04 CTS-V in Forza 2 is about the hardest car in the game to drive that I've found. I wonder if that's been resolved.
