I'm thinking of buying the FP Intake Pipe and would like to know if its going to fit with FMIC setup (Long route)

Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP DSM Aluminum Intake pipe

If you keep the stock IC piping, it will not fit with the stock MAS. The FP intake is 4" OD and if you use the stock MAS, you need a 3x4 reducer and when you add the length of the filter, there is simply not enough room to fit it. If you use a blow through GM Mas close to the throttle body, then all you need is a 4" ID filter that fit diretclty on the FP intake and it will work if you use a short filter.
I tried a set-up with FP intake pipe and the EVO8 MAS with a compact "HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded kit" thinking the filter is compact enough and it will work. Unfortunatly it was about 1/2" too long and I did not want to flaten my stock intake pipe to accomodate. I decided to wait until I upgrade to a FMI with short route to be install my upgraded intake!
