I want to do the 2.4 stroker motor in my 91 gst, im not sure what turbo i want to get for the car when i do the motor, im looking for around 400-450hp so i was thinking of getting the Forced Performance Green Turbo, i just not sure if it is a good idea or not, let me know what you think :dsm:

There is so many variables you are not addressing. By doing a search you could have found your answer. They are many threads about 400+HP Turbos.

1. 400-450 HP or 400-450WHP?
2. Pump Gas or Race Gas?
3. What are you going to use to tune?
4. Is your car for street, AutoX, Roadrace, Drag?

the gas will be 93 unless i find somewhere to get race gas, ill probally use aem or dsmlink for tuning, injector size im not sure yet, there is still alot of things i need to figure out i know, im just trying to get an idea, i want it for street and maybe autox, im not really big on drag i like to take corners always loved turns, but idk im just looking in to stuff right now trying to figure out what to get in the long run

Since you are thinking of AutoX the Green is not an optimal choice. The tight, low speed turns requires a quicker spool. Please note, that much HP in a FWD is useless because you are just going to spin in 1st and 2nd; even with R-Compounds and a LSD. If you AutoX you are going to need a boost control that has a low and high setting. If you are really that determined to have 400+ HP, I would get a GT30 or DBB PTE 50-trim.

thanks for all the help, like i said in previous threads im new to the dsm world, this is my 1st dsm and 1st turbo car... so if you have anymore ideas please tell me so i might be able to make my dreams come true

A green spools pretty fast, especially on a 2.4 liter which is what he wants. A 2.4 liter and a green wold be a perfect autox matchup.

Define "good". Will it spool quickly? Yes. Will you have traction problems because of this? probably, but it really depends on your drivetrain and tire setup. A green would probably work for your goals, but remember that if you're serious about Auto-X then having a non-stock appearing turbo might put you into a category way above what you could compete at, though I really don't know the rules well enough to say for sure. Also, AEM EMS is way overkill for your goals, DSMLink would be much easier to set up and use.
