Forced performance 255 Fuel pump?

I was just wondering if anyone has installed and ran one on their 1g DSM. Its a good price and i want to know if it was hard for anyone to install it, thanks.

You will need to add on the install kit which is needed for the 1G AWD. Unless you feel like running to the hardware store for some parts for the install. Personally I would just buy the install kit and be done with it. The fuel pump install is pretty straight forward.

yeah It's really easy in your trunk under the carpet to the back on your left looking in there is a black cover with two screws under that is the feul pump seal. you will need two wenches 19 and 14 and a socket with a 8mm to take the pump out unplug the wire harness. and as for the 225 almost anything that's a 255 pump is not a bad pump.

thanks i was just looking on the FP site and saw the fuel pump kit for $70 and figured their stuff is pretty damn good! and the fuel pump is a complete install kit i was just wondering if anyone personally has used it b/c if personally gone the wally way every time!

Getting wenches at 19 and 14 is like asking for trouble man

Make sure you have LINE wrenches, not open end. Vice-grip line wrenches are even better cause the first time you crack that fuel line youll be cursing like a sailor.
