i was driving for about 45 min. and i really dont give my car full WOT all the time, but it felt fine threw out the day, so i pull up at a light, get tempted with a little need for speed, so i give it a small run and i get this studder problem from 3k-5k like if my spark plugs are bad (familiar with bad plugs) threw every gear. But it felt a little different the studder didn't hit so hard, but the car was almost powerless in this problem. so i reach my destination, turned the car off for about 30 minutes and voila the car was fine, didnt do it again. was this heat soak? and i get a crazy boost spike of 20 pounds after i installed my HKS ssq, and boost guage reads 17 pounds at WOT after spike..? i did remove my boost control solenoid.? but this was recently didn't happen before injen intake and hks ssq. i am installing a boost controller soon i just haven't had time. could this be a problem in the long run? SO CONFUSED :confused:
 
for the fmic guys? do you have a fmic? your mod list only shows a catback... is there other stuff we should know about in addition to the intake and hks bov?
 
After I installed my FMIC, I started getting pretty bad BOV flutter. I've now tried three different ones, including a bone stock, non-crushed 1G BOV and it still flutters pretty bad on part throttle blowoffs-- to the point that it makes the car almost stall. I don't know if that's your problem, but thought I'd mention it.
