For All That Want A S2000 Antenna

I got it at Auto Zone. Its made by a company called Road Works. The model number is AW-UT03R.

eight bucks and some change. Easy to install too.

I think that is a little too long to be an S2000 antennae, and also I think the base isn't wide enough ... is it just me?

Kinda reminds me of those antennaes that will eventually sag? Libila, do you think that one is prone to sag?

Do you have any pics of it with the full car. It looks like it's leaning. Is it supposed to lean?? I like it though.

I should have titled that better. I should have said "S2000 style antenna". I dont really think the antenna will sag, its really stiff. I guess only time will tell. But for $8 you cant beat it even if it does sag.

Yes its adjustable. That angle is just weird, it is straight.

Heres that picture that was asked about. The antenna looks kind big in the box but once you put it on it looks much better.

I've had those before. Don't buy it. On the freeway, the antenna flops like a flimsy hot dog and it bends very easily since its all soft rubber.

My facotory one is like a whip on the highway, it can't be worse.

I don't think that is the same as the S2000 antenna. It looks more like the rubber antenna you can buy from a local parts store or Radio Shack. I had one years ago on the Jeep I had.

Dude you must be blind or sumthin. I've owned about three different kinds of rubber antenna meant to look like an S2000 antenna. I even had the one you had. When I'm going just 60mph, that thing is going left and right and right and left faster and worse than the stock "RC Car" antenna. If an antenna is a foot long or more and that thick, the wind will whip it mad. The only solution is to trim it down to about 7 inches. Thats what I did and it doesn't flop and it looks exactly like an S2000 antenna. You will have to find a rubber-like plug to fit over the top of the cut part though, just browse your local hardware store for that.

Bought the antenna at Walmart. Trimmed to 7 inches same size as S2000 antenna. Then used little rubber plug to cover up the cut. This rubber plug was from under the trunk lid on the RS and GS models! Works well.

It may not be as short as an S2000 antenna but why argue with me about it? Im just posting this to show people a cheaper alternative to a better looking piece for their car.
