fog light switch

So I'd like to take my factory 2g fog light switch and use it for my MR2 power steering pump. Has anyone used the fog switch for anything else?

Never tried it, but just be aware of the current draw. If you need to, you could always use that signal from the fog lights to switch a relay on/off, so you can feed the load directly from the battery.

I THINK your 97 has a 2 pin connector at the foglight? You can get a connector that plugs in there, and then run the wires to your new load. JNZ has those connectors I think.
