I just received my Punishment Racing FMIC kit today and was wondering since I'm retaining the N/T throttle body I obviously can't use the bolt on flange by elbow, would it be okay to cut the flange off and just use say a 90 degree coupler to go from the throttle body (2.75") to the cut piping (2.5")? Or would the coupler blow off since there's no raised edge to hold it on?
