FMIC Help, Please post tips & pics

Sup guys,
I bought an ETS FMIC Kit w/3" Coldside piping and Garrett 25x 10.5 x 3.5 core and yesterday disassembled the front end of the car and started prepping for install but looking at it, I have no idea how i'm gonna get this giant core mounted.. The IC has two brackets on top, one on either side (as pictured in my avatar) but I dont see anywhere that it would properly bolt up or mount.. Please help!

Side note:
-I'm thinking about losing the factory crash beam and replacing it with the JMF race bumper

You will need to take a grinder to the crash beam for modification. The D holes on either side of the radiator will need to be enlarged also.

I have already cut the sawzall (one of my favorite tools ) to make space for the IC, started to enlarge the Dholes, and eliminated the power steering cooler, But the the problem i'm running into is that i'm not seeing how i'm gonna get the core mounted without doing some fab work

You can get some aluminum, or steel straps, and bolt them to the tabs on the core, then bolt the other ends to a chassis point. Better yet is welding the straps to the core.

True, I was trying to avoid doing any metal fab work if I could. But it doesnt look like i'm gonna get out of it this time. Why can't anything just be simple with this car

I cut out about 3" of my crash beam with a grinder and it fit rather nicely, although, my core wasnt quite that tall.

I actually have the same fmic. I pretty much had to eliminate my bumper support, had a couple of alumninum brackets welded on so I could bolt it to the top and bottom of the Rad support, and your most likely going to have to cut Your bumper just a little for it to fit back on.. ill try and get a few pics up today.

Yeah, my crash beam is already cut due to a previous fmic install on the car but my core is still too big so im gonna eliminate it all together and replace it with the JM FAB race bumper
