I have no clue where to post this. But goes like this.
After I switched to a lighten flywheel I never launch the car until I got new tires which was 800 miles after the clutch install.
So now I don't know if it's the flywheel or the bigger tires that are causing me to have a bad launch.
-First launch 3500-3600, dump clutch, bogs big time. Like car was just rolling in first gear.
-Second launch 4500, rides/ slips clutch, tires hardly chirps, bogs a little but picks up like 2 seconds later.
-Third launch 5000, rides/ slips clutch, chirps and bogs again.
Is there a technique to lighten flywheels and bigger tires?
Before the flywheel and tires install launches were gravy.

tires from 205/55/16 to 225/55/16 which wasn't a great idea. I should of went 225/50/16- gst stockers

I use launch control at the track set at 5500 rpms on my awd. When I switched to a Fidanza aluminum flywheel, which is crazy light, I had to get the launch JUST right, or Id bog off the line a little. If you dont have launch control, try holding 5000 rpms and then let the clutch pedal up until you barely feel it grab, then floor it and let the clutch pedal up and you should get out of the hole nicely. Takes some practice with a lighter flywheel and no launch control, though you should have less trouble being a FWD and depending on which flywheel you have.

I have an act btw and thanks for the input. I'll try again when conditions allow.
On the older setup/ tires I was getting no traction at all. And all of a sudden after those mods it's like I have to much traction LOL
