1G Fluctuating fuel gauge

Any suggestions on where to buy a fuel sending unit, my gas gauge is fluctuating, so I never know exactly how much gas is in the tank. My assumption is a bad sending unit...any suggestions of what else could be the problem?? Thanks

Pull it and test the resistances at the connector with a multimeter before you go and replace it. The FSM has the positional values, ensure it increases smoothly as you raise the height of the float.

If it's it's fine, next check the harness wiring.
Inspect the wiring around the connector and the connectors themselves for positive contact and no breaks.
The insulation may be cracked and the wires corroded which can increase resistance. If the gauge moves around it may be intermittent contact or a broken wire.

If the wiring checks out, the remaining problem could be with the cluster itself.
