Flex a lite fan rewire

I bought the dual 12' universal flex a lite fan with the shroud. I am confused with the rewiring part. Do i really need the control module? I figured that since these fans were intentionally made for old belt driven style cars and my vehicle already is electronicaly controlled that i would not need it. can anyone post a diagram of their rewiring? thanks

never mind i figured it out myself. for those who are planning on upgrading their fans the rewire is simple. save yourself the extra 100.00 bucks by not buying the one made for the eclipses the FAL 210 and 220 are exactly the same and all you have to do is cut out the slot for the bottom hose and drain port.

to rewire it you do not need anything else. to simplify the wiring i cut the harness from my stock fans and wired them to the FALs so it is easier to remove the radiator later if needed. you can connect both power wires (high and low speed) to the positive side of the radiator fans. and both grounds to the negative side. for the AC fan it is basically the same. the fans work like normal and i have not blown a fuse yet

im gonna try get some aluminum tape to wrap the plastic on the fan shrouds with and see if that helps the fan melting problem .

i went boosting around today , no one wanted to play ..oh the guys in aarbrücken got some new cars in the group, a sr20det s14(bbs edition!sweet) and a rhd mr2 turbo and another supra..damn

there coming out to the races in 2 weeks! lets go too!

does anyone else have fan shroud melting problems? (i think its because of the thicker aluminum radiator cores being closer to the turbo compared to stock)
