Edmonton,
On Monday or Tuesday I plan on picking up a 52mm Autometer Cobalt boost gauge through on of my connections, but I would also like to get another gauge as I want to have two gauges on my A-pillar. My friend suggested getting an EGT gauge, but I am not sure if that is needed right now in my car. I should let you know that I am getting a boost controller and turbo timer next week as well. Once I get my engine back from the rebuild shop, I plan on taking the boost to around 15psi. So, if the boost goes up to around 15psi, should I be looking at the EGT gauge? I want the most important gauges to be in my line of site on the A-pillar, so some suggestions as to that second gauge would be nice.
Ultimately I would like to have 3 gauges on my A-pillar but I dont think that any company makes a full 3 gauge pod full pillar mount. I know that there are companies that make a 3 gauge pod for the A-arm, but its not a full stretch a-pillar mount, and that is what I want. To the best of my knowledge, Mach V is one of the only company to offer a 2 gauge pod full pillar mount for the 1G DSM. As you can see I want the full pillar mount regardless of whether its a 2 or 3 gauge pod, but 3 would be the best. I have searched but does anyone know of another company aside from Mach V?
Thanks for the assistance
