Mounting Gauges over the Factory Gauge Cluster

I have a 9000RPM VDO Xtreme Gauge, an Autometer Speedometer, and an Autometer Fuel Gauge. Does anyone know where I can get a plate to mount these in front of the Factory Gauge Cluster or maybe some info on how to go about making something? I know there's alot of custom carbon fiber people that might be able to help me out. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about.

Well, I'm not sure if any company makes a piece like that for your car. But, it wouldn't be too hard to make yourself. All you would have to do is trace the area on some sort of paper, then transfer that to whatever material you'd like to use. You could completly remove your stock gauges, or figure out a way to incorporate them somehow into your piece. It shouldn't be too difficult to make, just time consuming.

I figured making the plate itself wouldn't be tough.. I just was wondering how the hell to mount it. It looks like they may have used L brackets and bolts. I guess there may be mounting holes to use behind the factory gauges.

I think I answered my own question but I wonder if anyone has done it before.

Yea, you did...but seriously, once you get the cluster out you will have a better idea as to what's required. It should not be too difficult to figure out. Just time consuming to get done right.

When you're done, maybe a write up with pics for the next guy trying the same thing.
