im hoping to get my car running by this wednesday so i can go with a few other people to infineon and get some drag races in. this will be my first time... what i have left to do:

install the licp, make the hole for the licp a little bigger..., put the fmic on, put the bumper and bumper cover on, and re route the power steering cooler so its not in the way.... ill get a new ps cooler later, and ill also remove the ac compressor later, (the belts off and all the lines and condenser are out, just the compressor and pullies are still in), and im hoping that the stock oil cooler will fit....it looks like it should...the only problem is the holes are just barely wide enough, and the uicp i had to take a crow bar to just to get the pipe to fit through,... and it looks like i will with the licp too... which means the clamps are going to be a bi*** to get on.... anyways....

what should i do before my first visit to the track, do you think the fact that the only tuning ill get in will be based on the logs i make on the drive over there,... with my maft,.... and what psi should i be running at... ive run it at 17psi when it was stock but there was a lot of knock, but i think with the fmic it should be fine... anyone see any problems with driving it on the track the day after it is finished... also if the battery doesnt fit (getting a new one from the warrenty, its bigger apparently) would it be fine to just leave that tub that the old battery sat in out so that i can slide the battery back farther?

you can take out the battery tray thing but make sure your battery is tied down. also i wouldnt just rely on the fmic getting rid of your knock if you know what i mean. log it before you go and see if you still knock. go until you see knock then lower the boost. also make sure you know your local track rules, like if you need a helmet or not and so on. take some of your basic tools(sockets, wrenches) just incase. also if going during the day make sure you bring water. anyways good look and since its your first time get a feel for the track, dont worry about your reaction time the first few times and just work on getting good 60ft times.

im not going to rely on the fmic to get rid of my knock, im just saying, stock intercooler with fog lights in front of it at 17 psi (which is a little over the efficency range of the 14b i believe so the air should be pretty hot...) would create a lot of knock....

anyways, i dont think i will be making it to the track tomorrow since my car refuses to idle and my intercooler is to far forward....maybe in a week or two....
