Started my car for the first time in 6 months. Did a couple mods. Relocated the batterty to trunk, Bought DSM Link V3, redid the intercooler piping, Messed with the engine wiring, etc.
Finally hooked up Link to the vehicle and downloaded the settings. I have a non 95-96 CAS, but that box was not checked off in Link. Didn't reload changes to the file.
So I hooked up my electic fuel pressure regulator to see if I was getting fuel to the fuel rail.
Started cranking the engine to check gauge, and the car actually started. Awesome, but suprising.
Should the engine fire with an non 95-96 CAS even though the computer is expecting an 95-96 CAS signal?
It's my first Post. Been lurking for a while.
