WOW! We got dumped on here in Yakima... I think I brushed about 7-8" off the Yukon this morning. After work I think I'll have to take the Eclipse out and have a lil' AWD fun. Who else is gonna go out and do some noob drifting??

I did last year to I blew a coolant line. ThenI fixed it and did it some more. Theres just something cool about doing a 3rd gear WOT pull on a snow covered closed road with the car getting loose.

Video to follow.

It was the first time I put exhaust throught my SBR Manny, it glowed blue.

well just keep in mind not to do drifting in a parking lot. its like a $500 ticket. i want to do some driving with my talon but my timing tensioner hasnt showed up due to the snow.

Yeah been snowing for like what 25 hours now LOL... Enjoy the drifting Derek just dont wreck the beast :nono:

Not if you know an MP that has access to restricted facilities (and their lots). :D He actually is taping me Lot drifting.

Off post? Hell no. I get tickets just for passing cops at the speed limit, so lot drifting in places with other cars is not only dangerous by illegal.

Ya, I had my fun in a parking lot not coming near anything. Then I left going like maybe 5mph at the most and slid into a curb . I bent and shaved some decent amount of metal off of the very edge or brim thing of the wheel. Oh, well I will take it to Les Schwab and see if the can repair it and then designate these rims for winter tires and get some summer rims/tires.

Im heading up boarding this weekend at copper mtn.. Looks to be about a foot coming there so we'll see how my new "shoes" do in the snow.. Snow tires+AWD FTW!

Just across the mountains here Derek it's supposed to snow quite a bit because of the cold front coming down from Alaska/Canada. Its supposed to snow as low at 300 ft, I live in the highest elevation in the Area (Enumclaw) which is 800 ft (also the same as North Bend). But anyways bro, have fun with the drifting hehehe, just be smart and pick a spot thats open in case you lose control of the car (don't hit and light or telephone poles!) I remember last year when it snowed about 3- 4 inches, i took my gst out and it was a blast, just put it into 3rd and go WOT and just lose any sort of traction. Surprisingly, my car does pretty damn well in the snow. Ok, enough of me ranting on, just make sure to keep us updated and takes some pictures if you can!

AHHAHAHAHA! You would know a lot about losing control and hitting street signs wouldn't you? ROFL Sorry, I had to...

Hey LSD, where is that snow drifting video you talking about. Still waiting on it, hurry up already and turn that car from brown to white.

Oh yeah, you were there that night huh? Well my poor car took a beating that night, but now its all back to normal. I sure was lucky that night only bending the fender a bit. That sign on the other hand, broke in half, i checked it out the next day and it literally went flying like 10 feet from its original spot.

looking back now though, it was pretty funny hehehe

It snowed here in western washington today. Turned to ice, made for some sweet parking lot driving.

It was bad yesterday going up toward Silverdale on 16 but the GST held to the road like a champ doing 60. It was me and 2 ford F-250's riddin together. Im new to the area so i dont know where all the areas i can go play around here

I took some videos of me and my friends in the snow last night. Auto 92 240sx, 92 GSX, 95 TSI AWD. *cough* boeing *cough* parking lots. LOL.... they were huge. You would have to be pretty dumb to crash.

yeah it was alot of fun... the spot was so big we were goin 50+ and sliding. those cel phone videos dont do the sliding justice LOL. next time it snows we will be out there again.

Yeah, snow is awesome, HOWEVER we got screwed when heading up to Mt. Baker. My friend and I were in his Land Cruiser, and the raods were pretty good. We're on highway 452, and its a 55mph. At the front of a big pack is a guy going about 35mph for no reason, everyone was passing him, then it came to our turn... We got over and passed him, then a big snow patch came up. We tried to get over but the front tires bit, spun us sideways and flew across both lanes. Spun more as we flew off the road into some bushes at about 55mph. Then hit a fence post sideways and flipped the car 3/4 the way around, finishing on the driver's side. Amazingly we were 100% fine. We had 4 pairs of skis in the back and nothing hit us. The car is pretty bad, but im just glad we weren't injured.

HA... there was a blizzard here on Saturday. I was couped up in the house all day, so I took the elipse out for a spin... literally. :p Mind you, my car still has it's 18X8 wheels with summer tires on... even with AWD my car handled like butter on a hot skillet.

I went a 1/2 block before I ended up doing a 180* and then proceeded to put her in back in the garage where she belongs.

I finished the final touches before I went to work. At home for lunch and found a few grammatical errors in the text. So I fixed it, deleted the old file and re-complied the new one at lunch it should be up tonight on Streetfire, putfile, and you tube.

ya the lil snow we had in oly on saturday night would have been a lil fun but i had to help a friend put a chimney up in the freezing cold snow. but ya my car was at home so by the time i got home the snow was melting changing to rain. man did i wanna do my first snow drift. my friend volenteered me to put a dam chimney up. man it needs to snow again so i can play. with no interuptions.
