p-ville,
hey guys so i was wondering , i think pop up headlights are nasty, but first gens have em, for example the 1990 laser. i was wondering do i have to have them up for all my lights to be on or can i leave them down, like do they just come up when im using high beams or...??? also, with the 14b turbo on 1st gens, i was told u could run them up to 22psi, this seemed really high compared to the 16 on the t-25? is there any truth in the 22 psi while still being in efficiency range on the 14b?:talon:

You can do a few simple modifications to have them stay down, if you prefer. Easiest way (that leaves the lights on button-control popup) is the chiclet mod. Just use the search on 'chiclet mod' and you should find how to do it. :b

Normal operation is that if the lights are on, the popups automatically come up.

two ways to stop it kind of you can manualy adjust it to give u sleepy eyes or you can unplug the harness it self from the motor i did both that way they dont start dancing on me.

I personally wouldn't run a 14B to 22 PSI, at least not on even a weekly basis. You can definately do it, but it's not good for the life of your turbo and 14B's aren't as efficient with the boost set that high. I'm pretty careful about my car though (I don't ever take it above 6 grand) so I'm sure you'll get some different opinions from people that demand more from there cars.
