Just wanted to say Hey.
Love the site, been on it almost daily for answers, unfortunately out of necessity already.
So my son bought the car brought it home and the body is pretty rough but it ran great. He drove it around showing friends and somehow the oil filter came loose and he lost all the oil. There were no knocks so I think the motor is fine but he did ruin the turbo. I have pulled it out and checked into rebuilding but have been told I need a new center cartridge, It has the stock T25 and for the cost of rebuild I can upgrade and get a new big 16g. But I was just told today if I do upgrade I will also need a tune and to tune I will need a ECU from a 95 Eclipse?
Thought I could just upgrade the turbo and slowly add mods as we could? Any help making our decision would be great!
BTW I am having a blast with the possibilities of this car and may just get my son another car and keep this one for my project.
