I just finished my new exhaust set up,

TIG welded together using 3" mandral aluminized steel U bend, 1 5/8 J bend, RRE turbine outlet flange, and 3" flex pipe, I chopped off all the 2.5" area on my "3inch" apexi N1 downpipe and started from there. I took on this project because welding the wastegate flange to the manifold always ends up in destare eventually. So i also added a new manifold and heat shield. I ground out the flapper welded shut in the turbine housing and ported the outlet, the wastegate pipe actually goes into the turbo enough to seal against the surface the flapper seats on to eliminate the dead space in the chamber. pictures below...

oh thank you, the dump tube sounds really nice, much quieter and consistant then it was on the manifold. Very cool noise. I havnt gotten to use it much yet as the new alternator you see in the picture from autozone was bad out of the box, i returned it and ordered a 90a alternator for a spyder auto from the dealer. Should be running soon though!
