I have a Fuel Lab AFPR kit with guage on it and I am trying to find a good spot to mount it. It's going in a 2g engine compartment. There is only one accessible spot on the firewall that I have found, but it blocks the adjuster screw off. I want to keep it close to the driver side, but its slim pickings for spots. Any suggestions?

I have a 90 deg. AN. This kit came with 2 ft. of steel braided fuel line and AN fittings along with the fitting to make the end of the fuel rail hook up to that connection. The biggest issue I am having is 1. clearance issues since it has the guage and the tall adjusting screw and return line and 2. it has to be somewhat close to the stock location because my steel braided line is about 2 ft long. Maybe a battery relocation kit would help the situation?

I would love to mount it on the firewall but I don't have space for it. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. The height and width doesn't really work with the limited clearance under hood. I wonder though, could I mount the FPR leaning back at a 45 degree angle or even on it's back or will this cause it to leak? If I can do that, then I have the perfect spot for it.

Yes, you can lean it to a 45 deg but I don't know about putting it on it's back, I have mine leaning to one side and it does not leak.

Although, the best way would be vertically and horizontally at zero degrees. Sometimes you have to improvise though.

It would definitely be easier to mount it on its back for sure, but I have a car curse on me (like Murphy's Law in an automotive twist) and knowing my luck the warranty on the part won't cover it so I think I will go with a 45 degree angle, but if I need anymore room later, then I guess I will have to push my luck then. But thanks for all the pics and the thread with numerous examples. I will post pics as soon as I get it on the car. Now I just need to find the thread with the psi settings for high and low idle. Thanks again.

Okay, I ended up mounting the FPR on it's back like deflator had his in his pic and it is working out great. Here are the pics. I think I might enter my car for the crappiest looking engine on the forums! Enjoy.
