Now, i need to fix a few things on it...

1. When we had it up on a lift i saw the outer drivers front axle boot was ripped and some grease is splattered everywhere, no biggie so i bought a new axle ready to go in.
But, i was just boosting around today and looked down now my speedometer isnt working...could that be from the axle?

2. My parking brake is very weak, what do you guys think it is?

3. At idle my air/fuel ratio is like 16.5-17.9, is that bad?

4. I have a CEL from the rear o2 sensor, how do i clear that?

5. I think my return line is dripping a little, whats the best way to fix that?

Thanks.

1 check to see if your speed sensor is plugged in, its on the back of your trans above the diff. that is if its a stick
2 you can adjust your parking break. you have rear disc but inside your rotor there are shoes similar to drum brakes. those shoes have an adjuster you can click out with a screw driver for more drag.
3 my afr is around that at idle also. if your around an 11.5 or lower at WOT you should be fine.
4 you need some kind of scan tool to clear that light but id make shure your rear o2 is even in there. mine is not LOL
5 if you mean your turbo oil return line you will have to buy the gasket and replace it.
Welcome to the dsm world!

Make sure you take care of all maintenance before modding. Don't take a chance with the timing belt, if you don't know when it was done last then go ahead and take care of it even if the belt looks like it is in good condition. Use OEM parts as they are proven to work and be reliable. Good luck and welcome to DSM's.

thats exactly what im doing, i got oil and a filter for the car, new axle, i plan on fixing the speedometer, parking brake, and see whats up with the cel before i do anything.

now it is the stock ecu, the owner said that is idling high like that because it's the stock ecu and tuned for WOT.

the guy was a nice guy, im still in touch with him and he answers all my questions and is telling me everything i need to know about the car.
