so i just picked up a stock 4g63t with 70k on it, what maintenance should i do before bolting this thing in ? i got a fresh timing belt and im getting fresh fluids.

bough spark plug wires, an oem water pump, oem timing belt, spark plugs...

recommendation on where / what brand gaskets i should buy??

How do I check for boost leaks and how / what sensors do i test? detailed description please i trying to learn how to do this stuff myself

BLT's are mainly for checking the intake piping once the engine is installed. However, you could buy/make a boost leak tester, set cylinder #1 to TDC, and pressurize the intake manifold. Spray soapy water on the intake mani and throttle body and watch for bubbles. The sensors can only be tested for resistance with a volt meter. For peace of mind, I would replace the crank position sensor, the cam position sensor, and the idle speed motor.
