Finally going to introduce myself.

I have been a member for a few years now but i mainly joined so that i could search though threads. I am 20 years old and i live in the Lima area of Ohio. I never came across a problem that i couldnt find an answer to through the site search, so this is my first thread. I figured its time to say hey considering i have been lurking the forums for so long. This site has helped me countless times. I first became interested in the dsm world when i picked up a 97 talon tsi 5spd 3 years ago. I bought the car for 1500 and fixed some small things and was finally getting to enjoy driving it when i was tboned. 4 pm on a sunday afternoon and the guy was drunk off his ###. Then i moved on to a 95 tsi fwd 5spd. loved it but had to get rid of it due to money and insurance issues. Now i have a 95 eclipse GS auto. ha not what i planned on. i bought the car for 250 with no motor and a bad tranny with plans of a turbo awd swap. after lots of searching on the site a saw that it was not in my best interest to even attempt this. So i dropped in the stock motor and tranny and I have a nice daily driver until i find that project gsx im lookin for.

Yeah ive been around for awhile. I joined up a week before my first talon was totaled and i hadnt introduced myself yet. Then i just never felt like i should introduce myself until i got the GS back on the road. It had been sitting in this guys yard for 3 years and i thought it was a shame so i stopped by one day and asked him about it. So i saved it. He was gonna cut the body up and drop it on a fiero chasis ?!?

Never had any questions really because i didnt want to ask a question that had already been answered so i have searched the site alot.
