420A filter under passenger headlight?

I drive a 96 Talon esi (420a) i had it all torn apart and took some time away from it, i completely forgot how this (see photos below) went back together, it says “filter” on it so i looked up the part number on the bottom yet wasn’t any help (PA66-GF33) there’s only 2 nipples that look like they should have something on them, any knowledge or help on what this does would help, Thanks!

That is the purge solenoid. A component of the evaporative emissions system. It should have one vacuum line running towards the throttle body and another heading back towards the fuel tank (rather the evap leak detection pump, which is behind fuel tank.)
