Swimming Pool Under Passenger Side Carpet!

Ok guys heres the rundown.


Its happened 2 times and both times ive never found the "root" of the problem. When it leaks i feel up by the ac compressor (where i think its coming from) and its not coming from there.

The only other time that this has happened is when i was driving her home from tennessee, during that time it happened once i got home but not HALF as bad as it has this time!!!

Im seriously needing some help because its starting to get this nasty ass smell to it and its really rank! (i took it out and stuck it in the washing machine and im gonna put it in the dryer possibly next.... if mom says thats ok ) HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!



O, also a side note, the ac is never on in my car so i know its not that!
The worse place that it seems to be happening is right under the passenger side seat! Drivers side is perfectly dry!

I did try to get some sealant put into a crease by the engine bay that i found and thought that it was the problem. I think im about to actually break down and bring it to mitsubishi and watch them charge me about 600-700 bucks for a dam fix and then me go slap the hell off and actually shutup like a lil bi*** and pay it because i want the problem fixed.

I was going to bring it to a glass shop and see if they think it could be the winshield, but i actually think im going to just bring it to mitsu and let them fix it since they will know how to break apart the interior.

How about water getting inside the car through the windshield side somewhere when raining?

Side of door?

Under the car? Under the car via tranny shifter/selector area?

Nope, been through the door idea. Been through the winshield idea. Im 100% sure its not from under the car. Me and doug have had numerous pm's about the problem and he thinks its best that i bring it to mitsu myself also and see if they will fix the problem.


The funny part is even with this problem i still love the car to death :shrugs:

Leaking through top hatch seal under the panels?
Leaking through rear side window seal and under the panels?
I'm out of ideas .
Tell us if the source was discovered. May be very useful for future...

Dude, its nowhere in the back at all! Its in the front passenger side corner of the car, i know this for a fact. Once i bring it to the dealer and they tell me if they will try to fix it or not then ill keep you guys posted with the final outcome from if they find it or not.

If it dosent get fixed.... I guess i could always kill myself? :shrugs:

If it gets fixed... For letting me get her fixed ill buy my baby all hard intercooler piping, tripple pillar pod with egt boost and a/f and a turboback o2 eliminator exhaust.

I just want my baby fixed

I've got a friend with a GS-R and his windshield was leaking in the passenger bottom corner. When it would rain, or when any water would get on it, it would leak all the way down to the floorboard. You should check that out, it couldn't hurt anyway

I aint being rude when i say this but you guys keep telling me the same thing that i already know. Im going to bring the car to a winshield shop and make sure that the winsheild is fine. If it is then im going to bring it to mitsu.

Winshield was fine.

Brought the car to mitsu and they dropped all the a/c components under the passenger side of the floorboard. Found where it was leaking from and fixed it asap!!!

It was a body seem that had actually withered away he said. Took him about 20 mins once everything was dropped to fix the problem. Problems fixed issue is resolved.

Also one last thing. SATAN isnt as bad as some of us think. Personally i think they were the only people that could fix my problem so i went ahead and brought it there. SATAN dosent always do bad work.

Satan r0x. I bought all my turbo and support component assembly bolts, studs, washers, nuts, water lines, oil lines... etc. from Satan.

And I plan on buying replacement oil pump and water pump from them in the future. Plust they offer 15% discount coupon on the web EVERY MONTH.

Dude, read about 3 post's up. The problems is resolved. It was a seperation in two metal parts up by the firewall.

THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
