I'm looking at both of these sets of injectors, pricing is pretty similiar on both.

Should I just grab the 680's for the extra 30cc's?

Also, I'm going to be running these with my 14b for awhile, while I try and decide what turbo I'm going to go with. Am I going to run into any problems with these size injectors and the 14b(SAFC for fuel control, walbro 190 pump)?

i'd get the 680s for the extra piece of mind, i doubt it'll really make all that much difference. If anything, you might need to lean them out a tiny bit more than the 660s with your AFC.

Extremepsi injectors are junk, they are the same ones darksideracing sells. You cant get them to idel worth a crap. Get the FIC's.
Also I believe the FIC's willa ctually flow more than thoses 680's because they are rated at a lower fuel pressure.

They are both the same Rochester injector. Some places feel the need to rate their injectors differently, and then call them something else.

FIC injectors are matched sets.

Another thing to remember is what FP these injectors are running to get thier flow... On the Denso 660's on 2G FP, they actually flow 20cc's more... I've heard the PTE injectors flowing less than they are advertised but cannot comment on FIC or any others..

What would affect my decision a lot is the SAFC's ability to tune with those injectors. IIRC that flow range is where the SAFC maxes out. I'd go with 650s because they would be easier to tune. If you go with 680s you might find yourself running out of adjustment room.

Clearly you missed Ben's post above where he said they're the same injector.

I just got some 780s off eBay which were advertised as PTE/Delphi injectors, and they also look identical to the FICs, with the olive and black body.

OK so here is what I am missing. Maybe somebody from extremepsi will clarify for us...

This is the Extremem PSI 680cc injector (A Rochester injector just as Ben K said)

http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16331&cat=428&page=1

Here are the FIC 650cc injectors on Exremepsi's page. (Same pictures as a matter of fact)

http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16337&cat=429&page=1

Then on Fuel injector clinic's page..

http://www.fuelinjectorclinic.com/services.htm

The same pictures are used on all. These injectors originate at Fuel injector clinic and they wholesale them out (hell I sell them to honda guys but don't disguise where they come from, but I'm in Canada too importing them over the border) and I don't call them my own injectors or a different flow rating.

So are the ExtremePSI injectors and FIC injectors from the same place and the same CC? I have a feeling just as ben said they are all the same and from exactly the same place and all have the same flow rating.

The piece of mind you will get from buying the larger 680cc injector will all be in your head.

There are only a few manufacturers of injectors. All the injectors here in question are made by Rochester. There are a lot of shops that sell these Rochester injectors in quite a few different flow rates, even though they start out as the same injector.

Here is the difference. Most of these shops do not flow match the injectors, and just randomly choose 4 or 6 or 8 injectors from a batch. FIC does match their Rochester injectors so you are getting a set that you know will flow the same.

I could buy raw, unmatched, untested Rochester injectors just like these other places, and sell them for less than FICs, but I don't. I only sell the matched FICs. Save yourself the headache.

Exactly what i was told when i bought mine from Nate at

FIC's are better matched and tend to be underated in regards to there flow. You cant Quote me but , i think he actually said that the 550's really flow 580, or something like that.
