Fender Liner Louvers Idea

Past weekend, I went to junkyard looking Passenger Fender Liner, since mines came loose, and was ate up from rubbing against the tire on highway driving.

I came across a 2G Turbo, and removed it. However I notice that it had vents, guessing so air can pass through there sidemount intercooler.

And it got me thinking, maybe I can recreate the same thing for the driver or passenger side so it can be beneficial for people with AT tranny coolers, oil coolers and sidemount intercoolers behind the front bumper air ducts.

I did some research, and a company makes them for the Nissan 300zx TwinTurbo.

However there quite pricey.
I am trying to see if hardware stores has something that I can work with.

Holy hell... they make those specifically for a car?! Those look like $4 steel pieces you can find at Lowe's -- you were right in thinking that you can probably find them at a hardware store.

Good idea; I'm sure it would benefit A/T and other oil coolers, but I also think many people would rather just remove the trim piece (probably not as good an idea in terms of aerodynamics).
