Well i'll put it like this it would take one hell of a turbo or supercharger to make a 3g eclipse outrun a vette a cobra a yanko camaro and all those other cars.

correct, that was one of the main flaws in the 2nd movie. Not very realistic....vehicle/motor performance wise. Paul walkers car was a Lancer not EVO and the 3g was supercharged I think. Either was neither one of those car should of kept up with half the muscle cars in the movie. Even tho I hate to admit it........but sometimes imports just have to move over to the slower traffic lane.....

Hopefully the 3rd installment will be a lil more realistic performance wise, but I dont see there being any 5 minute long drag races so it'll be hard to judge performance in a drifting movie.

I dont think it looks that bad. That trailer had a nice ass RX7 in it, but it seemed like a few 350z were getting hurt in the process. But I know after the first movie, ricers got BIG here in Sumter. So i'm expecting a few cars to get totaled trying to drift this summer. *sigh* These poor cars. Dont do something you dont know how to.
