Fast And Furious Eclipse Car Sound

I want to have that same car sound as the green dsm in that movie when it takes off. What kind of exhaust would I need to have that cool dsm sound?

i believe the model car they used was a turbo, but the car they actually used for driving was a N/A. so yea.....

Please don't buy Exhaust solely on a sound you heard on FF. You need to look at the size,price,quality etc. Then find which sound you like the most out of the top three or so exhaust systems you find!

Well I already had a dunk exhaust on my first eclipse, and then had a N1 on my second eclipse, now I got my third one and just want that awsome sound. What was it on that car that made that cool dsm sound?

Oh man I can't wait to see F&F 3! Its going to sound so good - the cars! I want mine to sound like that... I want angels on the side of my ride, they make it look faster - man I can't wait...

Yeah I'm joking, I can wait. I didn't bother to see the second one. Either way yeah it was a NA look at the engine bay close again once more - you'll see, engines on the other side... looked like a 1.8 oddly - most likely because the company spent the money on the cars bodykits... which is why it sounds like a honda on crack.... 2.0 DSM's with a full 3" exhaust system sound better.

Either way - I love THERMAL cat-backl exhaust, and so does everyone around here were I live. Its a good exhaust system (the 3" cat-back that is.) Once the car has a complete 3" exhaust system it sounds like a dumb-truck on crack, which to me sounds nice...

I already have a thermal on the car, but the cat was also cut out. It sounds a little to loud, but it doesnt come close to the sound on FF. Wish I could find out what actually make that sound. GRRRR

I like the rather loud sound of a full exhaust DSM... Hell its one of the reasons I get them, they sound mean. They don't sound like a regular 4 cyl.

When are you going to realize that it was a movie, MOVIES ARE NOT REAL. There was ALOT of sounds/clips on there that were not real. If you want to sound like that car, Then buy a video game.

Goodluck with your sound animation. Try a video recorder and play it through subs if you like it that much

It's called sound effects. The Eclipse in the movie was a '95 RS with a N/A 420A engine.

The second one wasn't a movie.. it was a 2 hour long Mitsubishi commercial.
Starts the movie with a 3000GT. Then a 3g spyder. Next another 3g spyder & evo 8 that take us through some of the cheesiest action & worst acting I've seen to date. The only thing hot in that movie was the Skyline.. that he picked up at some dusty used car lot in some back hole of Texas.. RIGHT. If I heard Paul Walker talk about "them apples" or say "bro" one more time I was gonna have to go rip the Mitsu stars off my Eclipse.. one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Edit: Okay, Eva Mendes makes the movie worth watching.. but FFWD through the scenes she's not in.

that exhaust in FF sounds like poop. im sorry. It was a 420A with some cheap valve cover chroming and turbo kit set-up.
I bought a Tsudo exhaust off of e-bay and it sounds mean when the car warms up....
please dont buy stuff from FF. I wish they hadnt used an eclipse as the main car....
