just wondering what you guys though would be the best fans to cool my engine down. dual fal or stock fans, ive heard that the stock fans flow the most and get the most hot air out is this true. thanks jim

stock will do fine.

Flex-a-lite clains 25% higher flow.

These are pretty easy to mount, just a few of their "zip ties" hold the flans on and they pull a but load of air 1750cfm a pop. They sound pretty bad ass too.

Anyway these are two options for you if you want a fan. The stock do work, however these give you so much more room under the hood. I lost my A/C fan with my gate and dump tube so I'll likely do two 14" this year.

well i acutlly already have the fal dual fans, but i was told that the oem fans will move air out alot quicker and cool alittle better. everthing is for keeping my car healty and working good im not to worried about room or looks.

I replaced my stock passenger side fan wit a spal 11" fan. It flows 810cfm.
With my stocker my crusinsing temps would be at 185-195. This would be with a toggle switch keeping both fans running all the time.
With the spal in there my cruising temps are 195-205:thumbdown .
So now my next step is of course a bigger spal with at least 1000cfm of flow.
The stocker is better then 810cfm spal.

well i have the dual 12'' fal fans does anyone know what they flow and does anyone know what the stockers flow thanks jim

I replaced the 810cfm with a 1610 cfm fan and now temps are back to normal for now. It's only been around 82 degrees out. Have to see how it goes when temps are in the 90's.

FAL website says the dual 210/220 have a cfm rating of 2500. I dont know what the stockers do, but thats a lot of air.

im going with a 12 inch fan plus one of my stockers working at all times... plus i consider using some water wetter in your cooling system its only 8 dollars but i heard it works great....
