What's the best way to get off that spindle nut? I've had problems in the past and have never really figured it out. The last time I got one off... I cut it off because I was replacing the cv shaft anyway. Any helpful tricks on this matter? Today, I tried taking one off again with no luck ofcourse. Was trying to replace my rotors with some drilled rotors. Well, any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The spindle holding the wheel assembly to the control arm? Why do you need to take that off to swap your rotors? You should only need to take out the two bolts holding the caliper brackets on - it's a 14mm I believe (don't quote me on that).

If you need to take it off for reasons other than that, buy a pickle fork from Sears or PepBoys. Make sure you get the right one though, because if it's too big or too small, well than it obviously won't work.

Okay thanks guys... I'm stumped. Alright then. How do I get those rotors off? Can someone go into a little more detail for me? Appreciate it and thanks alot.

Listen to VelocitàPaola all you should have to do is take off the caliper and hit the rotor with a hammer if its rusted on:thumb:

don't hit the part of the rotors where the pads contact it though, hit it around where it touches the hub on the backside. it'll come off the easiest that way. you'll probably have to get a good 2.5lb sledge and give it a few good whacks to get it off.

There are a couple extra holes on the hat that you can run some screws into to pop the rotor off.

Thanks for explaining:thumb: Forgot to tell him that.
