F-1 Fenders

I have a 98 gsx and i need to replace the passenger fender. so i am thinking about replaceing both with some F-1 fendes.

what color is your car? i like them but i like the SLR fenders better (two smallers pockets)

Be carful where you get them. I have that same style fender from Aspec Motorsports and the flange where it bolts to the car (inner fender lip by hood edge) was all wavey and I now have to cut and remake that part....of course this is so I can make a mold and then remake them ultra lite in carbon. Seriously though mine were FUBAR along that edge. I really couldn't believe the even had the gall to put a "Q.C" sticker on them.

You have two passenger fenders?

I would seriously look into having a PROFESSIONAL body-man install those. It will cost more and it will save more heartache than you think. This is the price of customization.

Sloooooooooowly! I have been so swamped with other projects and these fenders I was to use as a mold have that ugly flange that needs to be remade. My fenders will be painted to match the car with the vent as the "cf knockout" showing.

Hey I was wondering if you guys think these fenders are a good idea or not...Ive never seen them on an Eclipse anywhere nor can I find a picture on the net with the fender actually on a car. You think it'll look good and clean...or trashy and that 'you tried to hard' look.
