External Gate MOunting

Alright, Which place do you guys thinks its better to have the external wastegate mounted? On the exhaust manifold or on the o2 housing? WHich is more preffered?

I got a custom exhaust manifold and had the flange for the wastegate put at the collector. This is what people were recommending to me...

Mine is welded to the exhaust manifold but Im told that having it on the o2 is better.
