1G Exterior trim removal - 1/4 panel vent

I plan on painting this all white. Anyone know how to remove this? Don't want to break it. Thanks

You have to remove the paneling that covers it with a panel remover, then it has 2 bolts that secure it. If you remove the panel, you'll need retape it and probably replace some broken clips.....have fun....

Thanks Vegas! I was planning on leaving them all on except for the drivers side door cover which is loose. Now I'm not looking forward to doing this. REALLY??? A wire wheel to remove the double sided tape???

How did you remove the metal cap on the antenna? Mine is missing so I have a rubber plug in place to keep out water. I tried removing it from a donor and thought it just unscrews but it wouldn't budge. Thanks!

I didn't remove the cap on the antennae.

Did it come out with the entire rubber piece that fits in the spoiler? You had a white spoiler at one point so I'm guessing it was removed.

The center unscrews just use small needle nose inside and twist it out.
On mine I used an old spoiler and cut a chunk out and plastic welded that hole shut before I painted it.

I tried unscrewing it but didn't budge. I ended up scoring the hell out of it using pliers so I just left it. Do you still have it? Would you sell it to me? Is there a sleeve that fits inside as well? Thanks
