hello all. iam the new guy but have been doing my dsm research for over a yr. iam in the process of building a 1994 mitsu expo awd which has a stock 2.4 4g64 into a 2.0 2g monster. ive started this project for over a yr and have acquired almost all the parts i need(almost).

what i have so far-

-2g block and head
-2g harness,2g ecu
-2g o2 housing,o2 sensor
-real evo 3 16g
-the complete gasket set
-a evo9 intercooler(stock)
-stock turbo injector's +fuel rail
-1g oil tree with oil cooler fittings
-2g oil pump
-megan downpipe
-civic radiator
-apexi(look alike) n1 exhaust
-brembo(offical) front brake rotors
-greddy(offical) type s
and some other perts iam forgetting.

iam taking my motor to a shop by desmoines called harveys. they work for the local stealership and ive heard good things about them. i will be installing 1mm size valves and bronze valve guides. my guess for labor alone will run around $1,200(including bottom end work.

the remaining parts i need to get are along the lines of intercooler piping,a areomotive fpr,a maf translator, some hid's,and some nuts and bolts from the stealership. hopefully i can complete this project within the next 2 months.

i do have some concerns though if anyone has the knowledge. i have a new transfer case
(21 teeth to the driveshaft,23 teeth to the tranny) none seems to know for sure if this is a 2g or 1g(i even called ams) so if anyone knows youre help would be gladly appreciated. Also i matched up the harness. and since in other countries the 2gturbo comes stock in this car the install shoulnt be a problem. but the plug going to the fuse box is different than the 2g plug(expected) which manual would i need(in easy lamen text) to explain which wire in the plug does(for a 2g gsx as well for my expo).

and finally heres some links to some picks of my parts. thank you and is there someone else on here that done this project before??

Stupid question, if you are doing an engine build, why didn't you keep the 2.4 and put in nice pistons and rods?

i was going to initially do a 2.4 stroker kit with the 4g63 but came into the forger pistons and rods for dirt cheap. ive done some research and found the 63 can handle boost better than the 64.
