Alright, I posted a while back but no one really helped me with this question so i thought i would find out some more details and re- ask my question. I got my car back from the shop and there are no more leaks. When the car was at the shop they tried to start it and it would run fine for like 5 seconds and then quit and the cel would come on. codes 12 and 24 (air sensor, vehicle speed sensor) were on. I went over and unplugged my 2g mas and started the car and it ran bad but stayed running. So now the car is home and when i took it off the trailer it was running fine... but yesterday i went out to start it and it ran for about 5 seconds and then it would die. Keep in mind that my mas is still unplugged.
So I guess i should point out that my safc got stolen and a few of the safc harness wires came off the ecu when they ripped it out... I haven't been in a huge hurry to fix it since i no longer have an safc. Also, my ecu is an eprom, with a stage II TMO chip. Today I am going to open my ecu and look for leaks and such. What I want to know is the possibilities that my car will run normally with a new safc.
EDIT: Just opened up my ecu everything is spotless except one of the two large black vertical capacitors is leaking quite severely. I cleaned up the mess and tried to start my car again... It was still cutting off but seemed to run smoother... with the mas unplugged that cel went off but it is still showing code 24 (vehicle speed sensor) if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, I have a cruise to go to in the adirondaks next weekend and i was hoping to take the car.
