experiences and opinions on this brake kit

Has anyone used this kit before? I'm not road racing or anything rediculous, I just need some replacements for my horribly warped stock rotors. This seems to include everything at a good price, but I don't want these rotors warped the very next time I make a high speed stop.

Do several hard brakes (without coming to a complete stop) and your "warped rotors" will go away.

I'll give it a try anyway. I just have to secure everything inside the car so it doesn't shake apart or explode from the vibrations.

Not running that kit, but stoptech does make quality brake components. I would think they would be up to their normal standard. One other route to consider is the Baer decelarotors. Now they come with both drilling & slotting from the factory, which I wouldn't normally recommend. But they also come with a 3 year warranty against worping & cracking, I don't know of any other manufactures that offer this.

You have to do several continuously, until the shaking goes away. Rotors are a big piece of iron, they don't warp. What you have is uneven build up of pad deposits.

Go out and check your rotors for cracks. I drove for 3 weeks on a broken rotor after a track day, thinking it was just warped. Granted I DID have little baby 1ga rotors.

No the rotors aren't cracked as far as I can see, I checked them when I rotated the tires a little while ago.

So I guess I'll go ahead and get this kit. I could care less about fixing these rotors, they've been resurfaced too many times and are probably well outside of factory specs.
