i want to run three inch from the turbo back to my apexi muffler. i herd you lose back pressure??? any help??

On a turbocharged car you want to lose as much backpressure as possible and still be able to maintain a safe boost level. Most people when they get a 3" exhaust with a stock car experience boost creeping or spiking. Creeping is when you boost continues to climb to unsafe levels during acceleration. Spiking is when it just blows past a set point then either settles back down or stays up there. On a completely stock car as yours I would recommend going with a 2.5" downpipe for now and 3" catback or a whole 2.5" system. A mandrel bent 2.5" turboback exhaust will make a noticable difference from your stock exhaust. Will also help with any boost creeping or spiking problems.

Yeah I would have to agree with the guy above myself. Go with a 2.5" turbo-back set up for now and when you start getting your car up into higher HP and further from stock then go with a 3". Check out Megan Racing's 3" set up they just came out with its cheaper then the name brand exhausts like HKS, and A'PEXI, and its better IMO.

im not sure of your cars application but ill throw in my 2 cents ... Im running the apexi n1 exhaust and i love it , its 2.5 to from the o2 housing to the flex section then 3 inch all the way back . That might be ### you would be looking for , i honestly live the setup . Good luck with your car bro.

why upgrade twice that seems like a waste of money to me.:nono: Just get a 3 inch right from the start and forget about it.

3" means go faster, faster means funner....

Or it means boost creep or spike which means way to lean which means damage to an engine.

I agree. ^^^

xrotaryxtsi - Keep in mnd, that on a turbo car like ours, the turbocharger itself creates enough backpressure for the engine. You can safely run a 3" turbo-back without a cat. unlike N/A cars. If you end up getting that external wastegate set-up, go for a 3" turbo-back.
