2G Exhaust stand still.

Hey there, i have a 1996 talon tsi awd, and i have been working on her for the winter, and i ordered a new Megan racing dp with the cat delete, it fits on my aftermarket cutback but i don't know what brand it is, it came with the car, and the previous owner didn't know. And so I have taken the old stock dp, and cat off, and tried to get the new one on and came to realize that they must have sent me a fwd one because it directly intersects with my transfer case. And if i put it in the spot where it's supposed to go I have about 3-4 inches of gap. So I figured it would be a easy fix, call extreme psi and get the right one, well I talked to a rep. And they told me that if it's the two piece one from Megan then it is correct and that i would have to call Megan racing.

Kinda fishy i though, but still i called. And after not getting a reply from Megan racing which i expected i called extreme back, and they told me again that i had the right one that the awd version came in two pieces and at the fwd came in one.

So there i am, with a problem and no solution, and it's not like this is a cheap part necessarily so I would like to know if I need to buy a spacer? If they even have those? Or if i am correct and they just sent me the wrong part. Over all i would have thought extreme psi, whom I have had nothing but success with, would be a little better then this.

my awd megan dp is one piece and has only the bend to make it go under the car. It should run right next to the driveshaft. I would send them a picture and show them what you got going on. I too have had no problems with extreme kinda fishy if you ask me

That's what i thought, so yours is one piece? Hw old is it? Because then i need to call them back to figure this out.

They told you the DP should be 2 pieces or the catback should be 2 pieces. Cause if the fwd catback is supposed to be a 1 piece, that person is an idiot. Because how the hell would you get the one piece exhaust over the rear crossmember? Not possible.

But then that means that if i have a bad part, then will they take it back? Because i have a 200ish buck exhaust that i cant use then.
