Hello, i just purchased the new SRS* 3" catback , looks good and it looks like it has 2 resonators, i thought about 2.5" megan dp with 2.5" hf cat from flowmonster (Ebay), with a vibrant dual tip muffler, anyone running a similar setup

what will be the best/cheaper downpipe, and high flow cat. without getting boost creep, im still running t-25 , wont be upgrading turbo until next summer.

Whether you creep or not depends on the turbo and what boost you are running. You won't creep on the t-25. You'll start to have creep problems with a larger turbo when you try to run boost below it's optimum performance (i.e. EvoIII 16G at 12psi).

The cheapest downpipe right now is the Punishment model especially with their black friday sale. It eliminates the cat, but take it to any exhaust shop and they can cut it. You can have the cat directly welded in place or 4 flanges welded so you can remove as necessary. Flanged is much easier for install/uninstall and gives you the option of running a test pipe at the track (which really doesn't make a difference for cars under 500hp).

Cats are pretty cheap on e-bay but make sure to get one that is truly a catalytic converter and not a fake cat (which is basically a bigger tube).

Most downpipes come with slotted bolt holes so anything from a stock O2 housing to a 3" will fit. If you are purchasing from Punishment, you can verify from them directly as they have good customer service.

I don't know enough about e-bay cats to comment more about your listed item, but it sure is cheap.

Completely agree.. For some reason when I bought my 3 inch DP from punishment I couldn't get it to fit. I emailed them and they got right bak with me same day and completely helped me. I sent it back and got full refund. Great guys there, and very easily to deal with.

The PR 3 inch DP has a 2.5 flange and inlet then goes to 3inch piping with 3 inch flexpipe. Bolts diretly up to the stock o2 with no problems. I had problems because I have an Evo3 with Evo3 o2 and it has a slight more of an angle. That and my DP exhaust started 2.5 then went 3 inch.

Sounds like a good set-up. Im sure glad they don't check for cats here in Arkansas. Almost everything on the road would get a ticket if they did. There's not much of a HP difference between Hi-flow cats and test pipes any-ways. Unless your making over 500hp, I guess.
