exhaust out the valve cover

well i bought my 92 talon tsi of my buddy for $1000 it was pretty fast actually it was fast as hell. I ended up driving the car from new york to california go to new mexico and started haveing problems all of a sudden the car had no power and stopped boosting. it would go in and out well long story short i finally had to pull over and exhaust was pissing out the valve cover and the car was smoking pretty bad. i found out the turbo was bad and changed it but the car still smokes bad out the valve cover and runs like ass not drivable any help is appreciated

If exhaust is coming from the valve cover you had better check you valve seals on of them is probably bad.

if i took the valve cover off would i be able to see a bad valve seal
