I had a machine shop port my manifold and they completely removed the divider. Is this gonna be a problem? Thanks guys.

Your engine wont blow up if thats what youre asking...
I'm sure it didn't help though. I can't imagine it would. You'll be alright.

it's definately not going to hurt anything but is certainly going to cause more turbulance for the exhaust gases.

I really didnt mean problem as breaking something, I'm more worried about it affecting performance. I've been running it like that for a year now. I just saw some guys ripping another guy in his thread about hitting the divider when he was porting.

Normally, center divider can be shortened to the hight of the inside surface of the collector flange and knife-edged. In your case, you may experience slightly higher spool-up times, although I'm pretty sure that difference won't be even measurable.
As said above, don't worry about it. Many other stock turbo manifolds from other cars don't even have one to begin with.

The divider separates the opposing pulses from #1/4 and #2/3 cyls (much like a divided turbine housing) and also helps direct the pulses 90deg towards the turbine housing volute.

Total removal will hurt performance, and "knife-edging" can cause cracking and possible break away of some of the material into a 100,000RPM turbine.

Leaving the divider alone is the best mod ;) :dsm:
