Exhaust Manifold

I have a rusty fp exhasut manifold I just purchased. I was wonder what I can do to get it looking better, or is it even worth it as it will just rust agian.

You could get it coated, heres one site i pulled off google. Zircotec high performance coatings, ceramic coatings, engine, automotive, motorsport, exhaust manifold and header coatings. Ceramic coating is what you want more than likely.

Bead/media blasting will be the best. Then have it coated or vht it yourself.

Exhaust manifolds get hot and exhaust manifolds with turbochargers attached to them get even hotter. Painting it, even with high heat paint or that VHT stuff won't last, it will end up flaking off and looking terrible.

If you are just interested in making it look better, you can get it ceramic coated. If you want to reduce your underhood temps look into Swain Tech Coatings or similar (CGB-1000 from FFWD, Jet-Hot, etc.).

Another cheaper alternative is a heat shield. I know JMF used to make one for the FP manifold, I'm not sure if anyone else does or not. I would check the classifieds if you are interested in one.

Ceramic coat, heat shield, or thermal wrap (do not recommend the latter).

Blast it and get it ceramic coated
