exhaust fitment problem

Ok guys I have a brand new mr 3" dp and 02 housing but it is not bolting up to my mr catback, I have one adaptor pipe but it is too long with that attached and to short with out it. What do I need to do to make it fit?

You either need a test pipe or a cat to put between the cat back and downpipe.

I thought so too but the test pipe and cat are too long it is a 3,1/4in gap

That's weird, I have a MR exhaust on my car with no issues. Did you buy them new? If so I would contact MR direct and see what they have to say. A phone call can go a long ways.

All right I fixed it I had to go out and buy a sleeve cut it down and weld it the 2 peice downpipe all better.
