exh. mani porting

Hello,

Is it a good idea to port the exhaust manifold myself? I've seen tutorials around on porting throttle bodies/intake manifolds, so...

Porting is really easy as long as you have the proper tools. Compressor, die grinder, bits etc. Electrical grinders can really slow things down but the work. Use some type of guide to whatever size your trying to get it at. Ex: you could use a 7cm gasket as a guide to port the collector area.

For the 50 it costs to get it ported, I would pay someone if you have never really done it before. You can hurt your performance more than help it if you don't do it right.
