Hey group I have a 90 AWD, 5 speed transmission and the shifter feels like it has excessive side to side play on it. I took the boot off the shifter and noticed what appeared to be powder each side of the shifter itself - almost as if some sort of washer where ther at one time. Plese take a look at the pics and advise if I need new washers and what part numbers if you know it. Much thanks!

Yea really common problem. U need new shifter bushings. They are some type of plastic that go on the sleeve. Extremepsi or in a tuning might have what your looking for.

Thank you for confirming my initial impressions. Looks like its time to order some new bushings.
