Evoscan is reading about 17 degree difference (fans turn on at 223*). I have a little obd reader that i use to check my check engine light. I can see RPM, coolant, TPS, ect. My obd reader reads 17 degrees less (fans turn on at 206*). They should be turning on at 206 according to ecuflash. Dont these read from the same sensor? Why would they read different? The plug for the coolant temp sensor was cut and rewired (connections are soldered and good), why would someone need to cut the plug and wire a different one in?

I know when i logged with tuner pro, I had a big problem. It was showing temps almost 100 over what they were.

I am a little concerned on which to believe. I cannot comprehend why the readings are different if they are coming from the same sensor. I might just pick up a new sensor because they are cheap.

Just had a Newbie PM me. He told me to use Coolant Temp Scaled. He was unable to post. It solved the problem and now my numbers match. Now i just have to figure out why my aftermarket gauge isnt reading right. Hope this solves someone elses issue in the future!
