my friend just gave me his manifold and turbo. i was wondering if its the same as the evo3 and well it fit on my car

No, it is not the same.

The Evo 3 manifold and turbo look identical to the DSM manifold and turbo, they only differ in size mostly. They are mounted exactly the same. The Evo 8 manifold positions the turbo closer to the driver side, so it interferes with PS and the alternator. The Evo 8 turbo is also turned 180 degrees compared to a DSM. The Evo 8 mani/turbo is also twin scroll, which the Evo 3 is not.

However, yes, you can use it on your car. However, it is going to take some fabrication. You would need to mount the intake tube on the driver side, fab a new downpipe, new IC pipe, get rid of the PS and relocate the alternator. If you want pictures of the manifold on DSM, look at my pictures in this thread.

Or, give the turbo to me :D

No the EVO 8 turbo can not bolt up to the EVO 3 manifold did you not read the post above where it was all explained. The EVO 3 manifold looks just like the stock manifold on your car it just has bigger ports and runners so it flows exhaust better, and the flange that connects the turbo to the manifold isn't the same either.
